The departmental committees are responsible for:

a) ensuring that the processes required for the Quality Management System are identified, implemented, and maintained;

b) reporting the performance of the Quality Management System and the needs for continuous improvement to the senior management.

Within the scope of these activities:

  • The relevant committees carry out their designated duties and submit their reports to the department in written form.
  • The Accreditation Committee evaluates the reports submitted by the relevant committees and takes the necessary decisions. Where required, these decisions are further discussed and finalized by the Department Board. The decisions taken are communicated in writing by the Department Chair to the relevant committees and academic staff.
  • The relevant committees are responsible for the implementation of the decisions made. In light of the data obtained from these activities, the cycle continues accordingly as part of the continuous improvement process.

Each departmental committee consists of one chair and at least two committee members.
